Monthly IT Support
Our monthly IT Support plan is billed in 30-minute increments. Any task under 30 minutes is billed as a full 30-minute session. If a session exceeds 30 minutes, the next 30-minute increment applies in full.
This plan is perfect for businesses that need ongoing desktop support. With a monthly commitment, you can address small issues quickly and efficiently while keeping costs predictable.
Ad Hoc IT Support
Ad hoc desktop support is billed in 1-hour increments. Any task under an hour is billed as a full hour. If a session exceeds one hour, the next full hour is billed. Rates vary depending on the time of day as noted above.
This option works well for businesses that need occasional or unpredictable desktop assistance.
Key Point: Monthly plans are generally more cost-effective if you have recurring desktop needs, as small issues do not accumulate into expensive ad hoc charges.
Our current pricing is as follows:
- IT Support - During Working Hours: R 500 per hour
- IT Support - Evenings Mon-Thu (After 17h00): R 750 per hour
- IT Support - Weekends & Public Holidays: R 1,000 per hour

What’s Included
Our desktop support covers common issues and tasks for small to medium businesses. This includes:
- Windows updates and performance checks.
- Microsoft Office troubleshooting.
- Email configuration and troubleshooting (e.g., Outlook).
- Installations and updates of approved business software.
Microsoft Tenant or Admin tasks are not included. For those services, clients should refer to our Microsoft Admin Support page.
Exclusions and Notes
Support does not include:
- Hardware repairs or physical replacements.
- On-site visits (quoted separately).
- Software training (quoted separately).
- Third-party service failures beyond TSC Media’s control.
